From an agency perspective, a merger would mean that the two agencies were able to build capacity, eliminate duplicate services and consolidate two administrations into one. In 2001, the agency served 32,316 clients, providing 537,046 professional hours and 74,682 bed days through five major service areas:
Today, FamilyLinks is a non-profit social service agency that provides mental health and mental retardation programs, youth and family development programs, adult community services, alcohol and other drug treatment, and school-based prevention services to children, families and individuals throughout southwestern Pennsylvania. |
