Meet a Mother Who Conquered Addiction – And Recovered Her Children

Jane was 33 years old and her life was a mess. Because of her drug addiction, her two children had been removed from her. Making matters worse, one child was diagnosed with cerebral palsy, and Jane was told he would never walk.

On the verge of losing her children permanently, Jane took a step that changed her life - and her family's. Together, they came to live at one of our Family Treatment Centers. There Jane received the intensive therapy she desperately needed, while her children received caring support and attention.

Through hard work and faith in her therapists, Jane was able to get her life back together. Our staff even helped her get into a nursing program, from which she recently graduated. Jane is now drug-free, and works while raising her two children.

And the good news continues. Her son is now walking. And Jane is proud to return and share her success and hopefulness with other women in our Family Treatment Center program.
