About the FRESH Fund

For most of us, the idea of "home" evokes a feeling of safety, comfort, and care - a haven away from the troubles of the outside world.  For the children and mothers in our residential programs, Familylinks is home, and we are striving to create a haven for them, but we need your help.

The kids and families in our shelters and treatment centers often are trying to cope with the trauma of abuse, neglect, homelessness, and family conflict.  Many are also struggling with addiction and mental health issues.  While our dedicated staff work very hard to create a safe, comforting place for clients, the physical environments at our Family Treatment Centers and shelters are often stark, institutional and even tattered.

You can help create a safe haven for the children and families in our residential programs, with your financial contribution to the Familylinks FRESH Fund.

What Your Gift Can Do

Your gift of:

$25        can purchase a set of bath towels or 2 bed pillows for a teen staying in one of our emergency shelters.

$50        can purchase new sheets for a mother and her children staying in a Family Treatment Center

$100      can replace a damaged living room chair for a young adult in our independent living program.

$500      can replace damaged bedroom furniture or purchase a crib for a young mother in our Family Treatment Centers

$1000    can purchase enough paint to completely repaint the interior or replace the broken tile in the bathroom of one of our teen emergency shelters.

$5000    can repair the damaged fire escape at our shelter for homeless teens.
