The 23rd Annual Lanny Frattare Golf Classic

The 23rd Annual Lanny Frattare Golf Classic, held on July 13, 2009 at St. Clair Country Club was a tremendous success with net proceeds exceeding $75,000. Since its inception, the tournament has raised $1,930,000 in support of the programs and services of Familylinks. We extend special thanks to our major sponsors: Giant Eagle, Wise, Snyder of Hanover, 7 Up, Pepperidge Farm, Kellogg's Snacks, Delta Airlines, PNC Bank and US Steel. Members of the winning team included Tim Davis, Trenton Davis, Bob Hodder, Charlie Yerage and Joe Jordano. Approximately 180 individuals attended the dinner and auction.

The success of the event is due to the continued dedication of a volunteer committee led by Lanny Frattare and Karen Williams and through the continuous financial support of the corporate community. Many thanks to the golf committee, Familylinks' board of directors and staff, as well as the community volunteers and last, but not least, the Frattare family for being so vital to the success of the event. A portion of the proceeds from the event will be used for the Al Frattare award that is presented annually to a dedicated staff member.
