A Teen with Great Potential Blossoms with Great Support

CS was one motivated teenager. He worked at the McDonald's in Wilkinsburg, and also attended Wilkinsburg High School, where he was class president and a member of the basketball team. Beyond that, CS had dreams of attending Penn State University to pursue a degree in Forensic Science.

Then CS joined the Familylinks' Adolescent Semi-Independent Living Program. While living in his own apartment and with the support of ASIL's staff, CS made the high school honor roll for several report periods. Then his dream came true: CS received his acceptance letter to Penn State-Beaver.

CS remained with the ASIL program until he left for college, where he continues his journey to becoming an independent, successful adult.
