Crisis Intervention

To maximize the potential of Allegheny County Residents

We offer an integrated system of urgent and routine crisis response for youth and families at-risk or in crisis situations, with immediate response available 24 hours a day.

We respond by sending a team of crisis intervention specialists to the crisis location, whether at home, in school, at community centers or other public locations. After stablizing the situation, we begin an evaluation and assessment process. We are then able to recommend a course of action, including providing referrals to additional services, if needed.

Who We Are

We are a team of crisis intervention specialists. We provide assistance to any individual or family in a crisis situation.

Who Is Eligible

All residents of Allegheny County are eligible to receive crisis intervention services.

Where We Provide Services

We serve our clients in their homes, in schools, at Community Centers or in any other public institution in which the crisis may be occurring.

What You Can Expect From Our Services

We will first work to extinguish the crisis and stabilize the situation. Then, following an evaluation and assessment process, we will make recommendations about how to proceed and provide referrals to additional services, as needed.

We are dedicated to helping youth and families who find themselves in crisis. We do this by providing alternatives and joining individuals and families with additional resources in the community that may help them succees.
