Treatment Services


The Family Treatment Centers consists of two facilities, one with a 24 bed capacity and the other with a 16 bed capacity. FTC provides a residential environment for women and women with children who are in early recovery from substance abuse. The program is 3 to 6 months and focuses on achieving and maintaining abstinence; developing recovery tools; increasing life skills; improving parental effectiveness; and, preserving family relationships.

Eligibility

FTC serves chemically dependent women over the age of 18 with or without children. Mothers can bring in up to (2) children under the age of 12. Funding is based on Pennsylvania Client Placement Criteria and is available through medical assistance, HMO's, and county funding.

are located in the Allentown and Penn Hills areas of Pittsburgh.
